How I do my 'doodles'

In response to many requests (well three anyway) I have done this brief description of how Ido my doodles as you can see, it's the kind of thing we used to do at school, taken to another level.

  1. I love your doodles, great imagination with all the creatures. I vaguely remember doing this in art class at school.

  4. Thanks Sheila, it's good to know how you construct them. I remember doodling and filling in with colours but never with such detailed patterns. How / with what do you colour them? Your work has inspired me and my daughter to have a go!

  5. I use coloured pencils, nothing fancy, adding a bit of shading where I feel its needed. Do have a go, start simple and elaborate later. It's a very relaxing thing to do
